UNC Chancellor Carol Folt Takes The Helm

On Saturday UNC Chapel Hill inducted its first female chancellor, .

The former Dartmouth professor takes the reins during a pivotal time at the university. , controversy over the institution鈥檚 and a looming budget crisis provide significant challenges for Folt鈥檚 first year.
