A month after former Greensboro City Manager Taiwo Jaiyeoba abruptly resigned, the city agreed to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to settle 鈥渃laims of unwanted touching鈥� made against him by one of his direct reports.

One year later, a WFDD investigation has revealed that only $241,000 was distributed to just 656 residents. And ESR was paid $100,000 to do it.

Each affected household is eligible for up to $1,000. Officials say any unspent funds will return to city coffers.

Charges were also filed against Michelle Heughins, who worked as a nurse for Wellpath, the jail鈥檚 former health care provider. She is the sole defendant to be indicted by the grand jury in this case.
